THE ROLE
The newly established role as Division Direktor VAP will have the main responsibility for identifying new business areas and expansion of our existing product- and client portfolio in the Nordics, while maintaining our responsibility towards sustainability. The different market demands and opportunities between country boarders are important to consider, and this role will be responsible for understanding and facilitate for these differencies. Division Director VAP will develop and implement our client strategy, based on and corresponding with the Groups’ overall strategy, as well as insight in our clients wishes and requirements.
To succeed in the role, you will need to create a good understanding of our culture and history, and bring these aspects into your work for the future. Additionally, by building a Division that is identified by enthusiasm, involvement and oppenness, you will be able to maintain strong internal and external relationships both locally and internationally.
The role will be a central part of the Grøntvedt Group Management, and will report directly to CEO, Bjørnar Grøntvedt.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the production and operations of the division
- Sales and marketing, with especial focus on the Scandinavian markets
- Development of KPIs for the division
- Build and maintain client and supplier relationships; communicate and cooperate with various stakeholders
- Cooperation and advisor for the CEO and management team
- Point of contact between clients and production units; communicate clients needs to improve and develop new products and brands
- Identify new geographical markets, products and services
- Build a customer oriented organization throughout the division
- Facilitate and implement collaboration between the different production units and companies in the division
CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are looking for a
commercially oriented Division Director with background from retail, logistics or the food production industry. In order to build and maintain strong, prolific client relations, we believe that our preferred candidate possesses an exceptional motivation towards understanding specific clients’ needs and identifying value propositions. A strong
business and results oriented mindset is essential, and in combination with solid economical, analytical and communication skills, your creativity enables you to identify new areas of opportunities.
Additionally, we value experience from similar managerial roles, and if you have relevant higher education, we consider it a plus. We are strong believers in an including and open working environment, and hence, our new Division Director is expected to be genuinely interested in working as part of a team and cooperating and discussing ideas with colleagues throughout the division. Your ability to plan, prioritize and initiate has a structured approach, and enables you to have a clear view of the overall picture.
