The role as Human Capital Manager is an exciting and challenging position. Human Capital (HC), also known as Human Resources (HR) is a key focus area in our company. We care about our people, and our Human Capital function strives to facilitate and improve the employee experience and leadership. In this position,
you will be functional responsible for the company's organisation in Norway, France and the Netherlands. In Norway there are two office locations – Oslo and Arendal. The company is organised in a global matrix, so there are stakeholders in other locations where BW Offshore is located.
The crucial parts of the job are to organise, lead, manage and motivate your team of direct reports, (currently eight), in addition to interacting with and cooperating as a business partner to leaders in the organisation.
Further, you will
- contribute to and share the responsibility for the global HC function overall strategy, management and performance
- deliver and manage effective HC processes covering the entire employee lifecycle from attraction, entry to exit for both offshore and onshore employees in cooperation with global process owners
- support leaders’ strategic planning and development of their organisation and resources within area of responsibility
- help shape and maintain a healthy company culture, where feedback and speak-up is encouraged
- ensure effective and equitable compensation and benefits based on local market intelligence
- work closely with all colleagues in the global HC function to ensure effective information management, lessons learned and experience sharing, contribute to global alignment and efficiency of procedures, policies and other management system documents, as well as employee data and unforeseen events
If you are the right candidate, you should have experience in the HR field, as well as leadership experience, preferably from an international company. We are a complex organisation consisting of different cultures and professions, and you need to have strong command over written and verbal communication. Your proficiency level must be fluent, both orally and in written.
You will be empowered and expected to be self-driven and proactive, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to connect and interact with people on all levels.
